Laboratory Technician in West Branch, MI

Key Details:

• Start Date: 5/11/2026
• Schedule: Night shift; 7 on/7 off, 4x10-hour shifts (8:00 PM – 6:30 AM) followed by 3x12-hour shifts (8:00 PM – 8:30 AM)
• 36-hour workweek guarantee
• Every other weekend required
• No on-call responsibilities

Qualifications:

• Associate degree in Clinical Laboratory Science or related field
• Current certification as a Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) from ASCP, AMT, or equivalent
• Previous experience in a clinical laboratory preferred
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and reliability
• Proficiency in operating laboratory equipment and performing standard lab procedures
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work nights and alternate weekends

Responsibilities:

• Perform a wide range of laboratory tests, including hematology, chemistry, microbiology, and urinalysis
• Analyze test results and ensure quality control measures are met
• Maintain accurate documentation and patient records
• Follow established protocols for sample handling, processing, and equipment maintenance
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide timely and reliable lab data
• Adhere to all safety and compliance standards
