Medical Lab Technologist (MLT) - Arcadia, Louisiana

An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Laboratory professional to support vital diagnostic services. This contract position seeks a skilled Medical Technologist (MT) or Medical Lab Technician (MLT) able to deliver high-quality laboratory results in a dynamic clinical environment.

Schedule:

• 6:00pm – 6:00am, Friday through Sunday

Your expertise will be instrumental in performing, evaluating, and reporting complex laboratory tests, contributing to excellent patient care. The role requires attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced setting.

Key Qualifications:

• Active Louisiana (LA) licensure required
• Current certification as a Medical Technologist (MT) or Medical Lab Technician (MLT)
• Demonstrated experience in laboratory techniques, instrumentation, and safety protocols
• Thorough understanding of clinical laboratory procedures for hematology, chemistry, urinalysis, microbiology, and immunology
• Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with the clinical team

Primary Responsibilities:

• Perform routine and specialized laboratory tests, maintaining accuracy and timeliness
• Analyze samples using a variety of laboratory instruments and methods
• Review, validate, and communicate test results to medical staff
• Maintain required documentation and adhere to quality assurance protocols
• Prepare and calibrate laboratory equipment as needed
• Follow all laboratory safety policies and regulatory standards

Compensation for this position is highly competitive at $76.50 per hour, reflecting the value placed on your expertise and commitment.
