Key Qualifications:

  • Valid New York State Clinical Laboratory Technologist or Technician license (required)
  • ASCP or AMT certification
  • Strong generalist background, experienced in all routine laboratory departments (Chemistry, Hematology, Microbiology, Urinalysis, etc.)
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment
  • Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and commitment to accurate results
  • Solid communication skills for working with interdisciplinary healthcare teams

Role Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine and complex laboratory tests, ensuring quality and accuracy of results
  • Maintain and troubleshoot laboratory instrumentation and equipment
  • Adhere to quality control standards and regulatory compliance guidelines
  • Document, analyze, and interpret laboratory data for clinical care teams
  • Participate in ongoing quality improvement and continuing education initiatives
