Key Qualifications:

  • Certification as a Medical Technologist (MT/MLS) or Medical Lab Technician (MLT) required
  • Demonstrated experience performing all routine laboratory testing and analysis
  • Strong understanding of laboratory equipment, safety procedures, and quality control protocols
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Current knowledge of laboratory regulations and best practices
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Strong communication skills for reporting results and collaborating with other healthcare professionals

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct a variety of diagnostic laboratory tests (hematology, chemistry, microbiology, etc.) in accordance with established protocols and standards
  • Accurately record and analyze data, ensuring the highest level of quality and precision
  • Maintain and troubleshoot laboratory equipment as necessary
  • Uphold laboratory safety procedures and infection control standards at all times
  • Review and validate test results before reporting, ensuring accuracy and reliability
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare staff to provide timely laboratory information
  • Assist in training or guiding junior staff or students as needed
