Required Experience and Qualifications:
- Competent as a generalist across core laboratory disciplines
- Active New York State licensure as a Medical Technologist or Medical Lab Technician
- ASCP or AMT certification highly preferred
- COVID-19 vaccination required
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct and analyze laboratory tests on blood, body fluids, and other specimens using standard laboratory techniques
- Maintain accuracy and integrity when documenting and reporting laboratory results
- Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory instruments and equipment
- Ensure all laboratory activities comply with relevant regulatory standards and safety protocols
- Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and other health care personnel to provide reliable diagnostic information
