Medical Technologist - Bethpage, NY

Qualifications:

• Experience as a generalist in the laboratory setting
• Current New York State license required
• Certification through ASCP or AMT is preferred
• COVID vaccination required for patient safety

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform a broad range of laboratory tests, including chemistry, hematology, urinalysis, and immunohematology, ensuring quality and timely results
• Maintain laboratory equipment according to established protocols, and troubleshoot instrumentation when necessary
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to support accurate diagnosis and effective treatment
• Uphold compliance with safety and laboratory regulations, as well as establish and follow standard operating procedures
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of procedures, results, and quality controls
