This is an excellent opportunity for ASCP or AMT-certified Medical Technologists and Medical Lab Technicians who are comfortable functioning as Generalists in a fast-paced environment. Whether you prefer day or evening shifts, this 13-week assignment provides the flexibility to balance your career objectives with meaningful experiences outside of work—think strolls through picturesque streets, sampling Lowcountry cuisine, or relaxing on nearby beaches.
Schedule:
- 4x10-hour Day Shifts or 4x10-hour Evening Shifts
Qualifications:
- ASCP or AMT certification required
- Must be able to work as a Generalist across laboratory disciplines
- Previous experience as a Medical Technologist or Medical Lab Technician preferred
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Adaptable with excellent communication abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct diagnostic laboratory procedures including chemistry, hematology, microbiology, and more
- Ensure quality control and accurate reporting of lab results
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to support patient care decisions
- Maintain laboratory equipment and adhere to safety protocols
