This role is a fantastic fit for experienced Medical Technologists (MT or MLS) eager to grow professionally through exposure to innovative laboratory practices, diverse leadership, and varied casework. As a generalist, you’ll refine your skills across core lab disciplines, with a special focus on blood bank operations, chemistry (Roche), and hematology (Sysmex), working alongside a top-tier clinical team. Your contributions help ensure accurate patient results in an environment powered by Cerner LIS.

Schedule:

  • 5x8s day shift (6am – 3pm)
  • 12-week contract assignment

Key Qualifications:

  • Medical Technologist (MT/MLS) certification—MLT not considered for this role.
  • Multiple years of blood bank/generalist experience preferred.
  • Proficiency with Cerner LIS, Roche Chemistry, and Sysmex Hematology systems.
  • Current ASCP or AMT certification required.
  • Must reside at least 50+ miles from the assignment location.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and interpret clinical laboratory results as a generalist, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Perform complex testing in blood banking, chemistry, hematology, and related disciplines.
  • Adhere to stringent laboratory and safety protocols.
  • Document all findings and maintain quality records using advanced LIS systems.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for the best patient outcomes.
