Travel Med Lab Technician in Charleston, SC

This travel assignment is designed for experienced Medical Technologists or Medical Laboratory Scientists seeking exposure to new lab environments and advanced workplace practices. Over the course of a 12-week contract, you’ll expand your professional repertoire in a dynamic, collaborative setting—an excellent chance to grow your resume and gain insight into diverse leadership styles in healthcare.

Schedule/Hours:

• 5x8s day shift
• 6am – 3pm

Qualifications:

• MT/MLS credential only (no MLT)
• ASCP or AMT certification required
• Minimum of multiple years’ generalist experience, including blood bank
• Proficiency with Cerner LIS, Roche Chemistry analyzers, and Sysmex for Hematology
• Must reside at least 50 miles from assignment location

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform a full range of laboratory tests as a generalist, including critical work in the blood bank
• Operate and maintain lab equipment, ensuring quality and accuracy across chemistry and hematology disciplines
• Utilize Cerner LIS for efficient documentation and workflow management
• Collaborate within an interdisciplinary team to deliver reliable diagnostic support
