This travel assignment is designed for experienced Medical Technologists or Medical Laboratory Scientists seeking exposure to new lab environments and advanced workplace practices. Over the course of a 12-week contract, you’ll expand your professional repertoire in a dynamic, collaborative setting—an excellent chance to grow your resume and gain insight into diverse leadership styles in healthcare.
Schedule/Hours:
- 5x8s day shift
- 6am – 3pm
Qualifications:
- MT/MLS credential only (no MLT)
- ASCP or AMT certification required
- Minimum of multiple years’ generalist experience, including blood bank
- Proficiency with Cerner LIS, Roche Chemistry analyzers, and Sysmex for Hematology
- Must reside at least 50 miles from assignment location
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform a full range of laboratory tests as a generalist, including critical work in the blood bank
- Operate and maintain lab equipment, ensuring quality and accuracy across chemistry and hematology disciplines
- Utilize Cerner LIS for efficient documentation and workflow management
- Collaborate within an interdisciplinary team to deliver reliable diagnostic support
