This 13-week travel assignment invites talented Medical Technologists or Medical Lab Technicians who thrive in fast-paced, collaborative environments. Here, you'll actively enhance your professional skill set by working with advanced laboratory technology, broadening your knowledge across multiple disciplines, and adapting to leadership and workflow techniques unique to this facility. Such diverse exposure will make your resume stand out and deepen your expertise.

Schedule/Hours:

  • 13 weeks assignment
  • 5x8 hour shifts, day schedule
  • 6:30 am – 3:30 pm

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years' experience as a MT/MLT
  • Generalist with microbiology proficiency required
  • Hands-on blood bank experience essential
  • Experience with Roche Cobas 6000; familiarity with Sysmex-WAM, Roche middleware, and Instrument Manager is a plus
  • Proficient in Cerner and Epic (preferred)
  • Must be based at least 50 miles from Charleston
  • Experience with applicable equipment should be highlighted

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Perform a wide array of laboratory testing and procedures, including blood bank and microbiology
  • Manage and maintain laboratory equipment to ensure compliance and optimal accuracy
  • Troubleshoot and resolve instrument issues efficiently
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient care
  • Adhere to relevant regulations, safety standards, and documentation protocols
