Schedule/Hours:

• 5x8's days
• Monday - Friday, 6:30am - 3:00pm
• Every other weekend required

Key Qualifications:

• Current certification as a Medical Technologist (MT) – ASCP or AMT
• Minimum 3 years of microbiology experience required
• Strong analytical and organizational skills
• Ability to thrive in high-complexity laboratory settings
• Must reside at least 50 miles outside of Charleston, SC

Primary Responsibilities:

• Perform high-level laboratory testing in microbiology to support timely diagnosis
• Ensure accurate specimen processing, analysis, and result reporting
• Maintain strict quality assurance and laboratory safety standards
• Collaborate with colleagues and laboratory leadership to optimize workflows and bolster patient care
• Participate in ongoing process improvement and continuing education as needed
