Travel Medical Lab Technologist (MLT) - Charleston, South Carolina

Assignment Details:

• Evening shift: 2:30 pm – 11:00 pm
• Rotating coverage: Every other weekend
• 13-week engagement

Contribute as a Laboratory Medical Technologist or Medical Laboratory Technician, serving as a valuable generalist with a special focus on Blood Bank. You’ll utilize industry-leading LIS platforms, including Epic and Cerner, further expanding your digital proficiency in laboratory services.

Qualifications:

• MT or MLT certification through ASCP or AMT (required)
• At least one year of recent experience as a medical technologist/technician, including blood bank generalist responsibilities
• Proficiency in Epic and Cerner LIS
• Must reside at least 50 miles from assignment location

Responsibilities:

• Conduct and interpret laboratory tests with accuracy and timeliness
• Oversee blood bank operations and procedures, ensuring quality and safety
• Accurately document results within Epic and Cerner systems
• Maintain compliance with laboratory protocols and regulatory standards
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver optimal patient care
