Schedule:

  • 7:00 pm – 7:00 am
  • Three 12-hour shifts per week

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform a broad range of clinical laboratory tests, including chemistry, hematology, immunology, and microbiology.
  • Collect, process, and analyze patient specimens accurately and efficiently.
  • Ensure test accuracy by following laboratory protocols and quality assurance standards.
  • Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory equipment with precision.
  • Document and report test results in a timely manner to support patient care decisions.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare staff to address testing needs and resolve discrepancies.
  • Maintain compliance with laboratory safety standards, regulations, and accreditation requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Certification as a Medical Technologist (MT) or Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) required.
  • Associate's or Bachelor’s degree in Medical Laboratory Science or a related field.
  • Prior experience performing clinical laboratory testing strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently during overnight shifts.
  • Solid understanding of laboratory safety protocols and best practices.
  • Excellent attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving abilities.
