Medical Technologist in Clifton Park, NY

We are seeking driven Medical Technologists (MT) or Medical Laboratory Technicians (MLT) to contribute their expertise in a dynamic generalist role within a respected healthcare facility. This is a 13-week contract role, offering flexibility and valuable experience for those passionate about laboratory sciences.

Schedule/Hours:

• Three 12-hour day shifts per week
• Guaranteed 36 hours weekly

Skills and Qualifications:

• Active New York State license as a Medical Technologist or Medical Laboratory Technician
• ASCP or AMT certification is required
• Previous experience working as a Generalist in a clinical laboratory setting
• Strong technical competency with laboratory testing procedures and instrumentation
• Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and reliability in a fast-paced environment
• Adaptable, with strong communication and teamwork abilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform a wide range of clinical laboratory tests across multiple disciplines, including hematology, chemistry, immunology, and microbiology
• Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory instrumentation according to established protocols
• Accurately analyze specimens and report results in accordance with regulatory standards
• Collaborate with healthcare providers for timely test processing and result interpretation
• Maintain strict quality control and participate in proficiency testing as required
• Uphold all safety, compliance, and quality assurance protocols
