Schedule:

  • Four 10-hour night shifts per week (exact hours discussed during the interview)
  • No holiday coverage required

Qualifications:

  • Successful completion of an accredited Medical Technologist (MT/MLS) or Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) program
  • Active ASCP certification
  • At least one year of experience as a Medical Technologist or Medical Lab Technician
  • Demonstrated proficiency in routine clinical laboratory procedures across all major disciplines
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment and maintain high quality standards

Responsibilities:

  • Perform a broad range of laboratory tests, ensuring precision and adherence to protocol
  • Operate and calibrate sophisticated laboratory instruments and maintain accurate documentation
  • Analyze specimens and report results to assist diagnostic and treatment decisions
  • Respond effectively to clinical team inquiries regarding laboratory data
  • Participate in quality control and continuous improvement procedures as directed
  • Maintain compliance with safety regulations and confidentiality requirements
