Medical Lab Technologist (MLT) | Clinton Township, Michigan

Seeking an experienced Medical Technologist for a laboratory assignment with a well-regarded healthcare system. This opportunity is ideal for those who thrive in a fast-paced environment and have a strong background in hematology.

Schedule/Hours:

• 40 hours per week
• 10-hour shifts, 10:30pm – 9:00am
• 4 days a week
• Every other weekend required
• Contract position running from 08/17/2026 through 11/14/2026

Qualifications:

• Current certification as a Medical Technologist
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is mandatory
• Proven experience in hematology is required
• Ability to work night shifts and every other weekend
• Excellent analytical and organizational skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform laboratory tests, analyses, and procedures according to protocols
• Conduct and interpret hematology procedures with precision
• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment
• Safeguard accuracy of results and thorough documentation of all laboratory activities
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure timely and effective patient care
• Adhere to safety, infection control, and quality assurance protocols
