Medical Technologist in Collinsville, MS

Schedule:

• Four 10-hour night shifts each week (4x10s)

Key Qualifications:

• Certification as a Medical Technologist (MT) or Medical Lab Technician (MLT) required
• Demonstrated generalist skills across all major laboratory disciplines
• Previous hospital laboratory experience strongly preferred
• Strong attention to detail, reliability, and ability to work independently on night shifts
• Outstanding communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities
• Flexibility to adapt to changing workloads throughout the laboratory sections

Primary Responsibilities:

• Perform a wide variety of diagnostic laboratory tests across hematology, chemistry, urinalysis, immunology, blood bank, and microbiology as a generalist
• Accurately analyze and report laboratory results within required timeframes
• Maintain and operate sophisticated lab equipment, troubleshoot issues, and perform routine maintenance
• Adhere to all relevant quality assurance, safety, and infection control standards
• Collaborate seamlessly with nursing and medical staff to deliver timely, high-quality patient results
• Maintain detailed and accurate records to support compliance and patient safety
