Step into a dynamic laboratory environment as a key contributor to patient care in a 6-month contract role focused on high-quality diagnostic testing. In this position, your expertise as a Medical Technologist or Medical Laboratory Technician will directly support clinical teams and impact patient outcomes.

Schedule:

  • Evening shift: 11:00am – 9:30pm
  • Monday through Friday (no weekends)

Qualifications:

  • Valid certification as a Medical Technologist (MT) or Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT)
  • Proven competency in Chemistry, Hematology, Urinalysis, Coagulation, and Specimen Processing
  • Experience in Blood Bank and Microbiology is required when designated
  • Familiarity with Meditech laboratory information systems is a plus
  • No phlebotomy required
  • Detail-oriented, with strong organizational skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform diagnostic testing in accordance with laboratory protocols, focusing on accuracy and timely delivery of results
  • Analyze and interpret laboratory findings to guide clinical decision-making
  • Process specimens, ensuring proper handling and documentation
  • Rotate through specialty areas as assigned, maintaining high standards in quality control and safety procedures
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to support optimal patient care
  • Maintain clear and thorough records, ensuring laboratory compliance with regulatory standards
