Key Qualifications:

• Current certification as a Medical Technologist (MT/MLS ASCP or equivalent) or Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT ASCP or equivalent)
• Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in medical laboratory science, clinical laboratory science, or related field
• Previous experience in a high-complexity clinical laboratory preferred
• Proficiency with laboratory instrumentation, analyzers, and quality control protocols
• Strong attention to detail and demonstrated ability to analyze, interpret, and report complex laboratory data
• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and adherence to laboratory safety regulations

Primary Responsibilities:

• Perform analytical tests in hematology, chemistry, microbiology, immunology, and/or blood bank according to established procedures
• Accurately document and report test results to healthcare providers within required timeframes
• Maintain and calibrate laboratory instruments; troubleshoot equipment as needed
• Monitor quality control and participate in proficiency testing to ensure accuracy and compliance
• Follow infection control protocols and contribute to a safe laboratory environment
