Schedule:

• Night shifts including rotating weekends

Qualifications:

• Certification as a Medical Technologist (ASCP) or acceptance of AMT certification
• Experience as a Laboratory Medical Technologist or MLT (Medical Lab Technician)
• Hands-on familiarity with blood banking (strongly preferred)
• Experience with phlebotomy is a plus
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow established laboratory protocols
• Strong critical thinking and troubleshooting skills

Responsibilities:

• Perform high-volume blood bank testing and analyze results according to laboratory standards
• Conduct routine and specialized diagnostic laboratory procedures to support clinical care
• Carefully document findings and maintain accurate, up-to-date records
• Collaborate with fellow laboratory staff and other healthcare professionals to ensure efficient workflow
• Uphold rigorous quality control procedures and participate in required proficiency testing
• Assist with phlebotomy when needed, ensuring patient comfort and specimen integrity
• Adhere to safety, infection control, and regulatory guidelines at all times
