Schedule:
- Afternoon shift: 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM
Qualifications:
- Completion of an Associate Degree Program in Medical Laboratory Technology or Laboratory Science
- 2-3 years of prior experience functioning as a Medical Technologist, Medical Lab Technician, or in a comparable laboratory capacity
- Hands-on experience working with Beckman Coulter instrumentation, with preference for direct AU system experience
- Solid understanding of laboratory operations, safety protocols, and clinical testing standards
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering precise, timely results
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work efficiently with team members and healthcare staff
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform a full range of laboratory tests following established protocols to support diagnoses and monitor treatments
- Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, with a focus on Beckman Coulter analyzers
- Record and report results accurately, ensuring appropriate documentation and confidentiality
- Troubleshoot instrumentation issues and collaborate with technical support as needed
- Adhere to stringent quality control, safety, and compliance guidelines
- Support continuous improvement through process evaluation and constructive feedback
