Schedule:

  • Midnight Shift: 10:30PM – 7:00AM

Key Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant scientific discipline
  • Current BLS certification
  • Certification by ASCP or NCA (recognized national certifying agency)
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience functioning as a Medical Technologist or Medical Lab Technician
  • Proficiency with laboratory instrumentation, specifically Beckman Coulter equipment (experience with AU systems strongly preferred)
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a high-volume laboratory environment

Responsibilities:

  • Perform and validate laboratory tests in accordance with established protocols and quality standards
  • Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot Beckman Coulter analyzers and related laboratory equipment
  • Accurately document results, maintain sample integrity, and adhere to all regulatory and safety guidelines
  • Collaborate with laboratory staff to ensure timely communication of critical values and reliable patient outcomes
  • Participate in ongoing competency assessment, training, and continuing education as required
