Schedule:

  • Afternoon shift: 2:30 pm – 11:00 pm

Qualifications:

  • Associate Degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or Laboratory Science required
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of relevant experience as a Medical Technologist or Medical Lab Technician
  • Proficiency with Beckman Coulter laboratory equipment, especially the AU system (highly preferred)
  • Thorough knowledge of laboratory procedures and quality controls
  • Commitment to maintaining accuracy, safety, and confidentiality standards
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced clinical environment and multi-task effectively

Role Responsibilities:

  • Perform a wide range of routine and complex laboratory tests according to standard protocols
  • Operate, calibrate, and maintain Beckman Coulter and related laboratory instrumentation
  • Verify and analyze test results, ensuring accuracy and timely reporting to clinical staff
  • Maintain clear and comprehensive documentation and quality control logs
  • Collaborate with a diverse team of healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes
  • Troubleshoot technical equipment issues and follow up on unresolved results
  • Prioritize workload efficiently, focusing on both routine and STAT requests as needed
  • Adhere to established policies for safety, infection control, and regulatory compliance
