Elevate your laboratory expertise by working as a skilled technologist in a dynamic hospital setting. This 13-week contract assignment allows you to make a real impact on patient care, utilizing your diagnostic and analytical abilities as a valued member of a team of professionals.

Schedule:

  • 4x10-hour night shifts
  • Hours: 9:00 pm – 7:30 am

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Current certification as a Medical Technologist or Medical Lab Technician, ASCP required
  • Demonstrated proficiency in laboratory testing and analysis across hematology, chemistry, urinalysis, and microbiology
  • Strong attention to detail, with proven troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities
  • Effective communication skills to interact with physicians, nurses, and support staff
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and efficiently prioritize tasks
  • Previous experience in high-volume hospital or clinical laboratory preferred

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform a wide range of laboratory tests with accuracy and timeliness for diagnostic purposes
  • Adhere strictly to quality control procedures and laboratory safety protocols
  • Analyze specimens, interpret results, and communicate critical findings to the care team
  • Maintain accurate documentation, records, and equipment calibration logs
  • Participate in continuing education and departmental training sessions as required
  • Assist with inventory management and ordering of laboratory supplies
