Medical Technologist - Eagle, ID

Seeking a skilled professional to support laboratory operations by performing complex testing and analyses as a vital part of the healthcare team. This position plays a crucial role in ensuring the highest standards of accuracy and reliability in laboratory results. Multiple shifts are available, providing flexibility to accommodate varying schedules throughout the 13-week contract duration.

Responsibilities include:

• Perform laboratory procedures in accordance with established protocols
• Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory equipment
• Process and analyze specimens, interpreting results with attention to precision and quality
• Document findings, maintaining comprehensive and accurate records
• Collaborate with clinical team members to report findings and answer technical questions
• Troubleshoot instrument or assay problems promptly and efficiently
• Adhere to all regulatory, safety, and infection control standards
• Participate in continuing education to maintain current knowledge in laboratory testing and procedures

Qualifications:

• Valid certification as a Medical Technologist or Medical Lab Technician (MLT)
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory Science, or related field required
• Demonstrated experience working in a clinical laboratory environment
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Detail-oriented with commitment to maintaining the highest quality standards
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities
• Familiarity with current laboratory instrumentation and information systems
