Qualifications:

  • Current certification as a Medical Technologist (MT, MLS, or CLS) or Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) from a nationally recognized credentialing organization
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Medical Laboratory Science, Clinical Laboratory Science, or relevant field
  • Previous laboratory experience in a hospital or clinical setting is strongly preferred
  • Proficiency in a wide range of laboratory disciplines, including hematology, chemistry, and microbiology
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and analytical skills
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
  • Commitment to upholding laboratory safety protocols and standards

Responsibilities:

  • Perform testing procedures on patient specimens across various laboratory sections
  • Ensure all quality control, accuracy, and regulatory standards are met
  • Operate, troubleshoot, and maintain laboratory instruments and equipment
  • Accurately report and document test results in laboratory information systems
  • Maintain inventory and ensure appropriate supply levels
  • Contribute to a safe and efficient laboratory by following established procedures and infection control guidelines
  • Collaborate with medical and laboratory staff to support patient care
