Seeking a skilled and flexible professional to contribute as a Laboratory Medical Technologist or Medical Lab Technician. This opportunity focuses on blood banking and clinical laboratory analysis within a dynamic healthcare environment. Schedule/Hours:

• Night shifts
• Rotating weekends

Qualifications:

• Certification as a Medical Technologist (ASCP or AMT accepted) or Medical Lab Technician
• Previous experience in blood banking (heavy blood bank workload emphasized)
• Phlebotomy skills preferred
• Proven ability to work efficiently during overnight hours and collaborate with a diverse lab team
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• Commitment to laboratory safety and accurate sample handling

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform a variety of laboratory tests and analyses, with significant focus on blood bank tasks
• Ensure quality control and accuracy in all test results and procedures
• Collect, label, and process patient samples according to established protocols
• Maintain detailed records of laboratory activities and findings
• Collaborate with fellow lab personnel and provide expert input on laboratory workflow
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and maintain laboratory instrumentation
