Medical Technologist in Gainesville, GA

This contract position offers a six-month assignment focused on high-complexity laboratory testing, supporting patient care through precise diagnostics. Schedule/Hours:

• Evening shift: 11:00 am – 9:30 pm
• Monday through Friday (no weekends)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Active certification as a Medical Technologist or Medical Lab Technician
• Previous experience in laboratory testing within areas such as Chemistry, Hematology, Urinalysis, Coagulation, Specimen Processing, Blood Bank, and Microbiology (as designated)
• Familiarity with Meditech laboratory information systems highly desirable
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain quality and accuracy
• No phlebotomy duties required

Primary Responsibilities:

• Perform complex laboratory tests in accordance with established protocols, ensuring accuracy and timely reporting
• Process specimens and maintain clear, detailed records of all testing procedures and outcomes
• Collaborate with fellow clinical laboratory professionals to ensure quality and compliance with safety standards
• Participate in maintaining and calibrating lab equipment; troubleshoot technical problems as needed
• Rotate through various testing departments as assigned, maintaining flexibility and adaptability
