Schedule:

  • Four 10-hour night shifts per week (specific hours will be discussed during the interview)
  • No holiday coverage required

Qualifications:

  • Current certification as a Medical Technologist or Medical Laboratory Technician (ASCP required)
  • Minimum of one year’s experience in a high-complexity laboratory
  • Strong working knowledge of laboratory procedures, instrumentation, and safety protocols
  • Attention to detail, critical thinking skills, and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct various laboratory tests and analyses with precision and accuracy, adhering to standard operating procedures
  • Prepare specimens, operate and maintain laboratory equipment, and ensure all quality control protocols are followed
  • Monitor test results and flag any abnormalities promptly for further review
  • Accurately document and report laboratory findings within established timeframes
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide timely and accurate diagnostic information
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory requirements
