Medical Lab Technologist (MLT) | Gardner, Massachusetts

Seeking an experienced professional to fill a key laboratory role in a healthcare setting. This contract opportunity is ideal for individuals with a strong background as a Medical Technologist or Medical Lab Technician, who can deliver reliable and accurate results during night shifts. Flexible 4x10-hour night shifts are available, with exact hours to be discussed during the interview process. Note that holiday coverage is not required for this assignment.

Qualifications:

• Active ASCP certification required
• Minimum of 1 year recent experience as a Medical Technologist or Medical Lab Technician
• Comprehensive understanding of laboratory procedures and protocols
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to high-quality standards
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a healthcare team
• Demonstrated proficiency in laboratory equipment and software

Responsibilities:

• Perform a variety of laboratory tests, analyses, and procedures with accuracy and efficiency
• Validate and report test results in accordance with established laboratory policies
• Ensure proper operation and maintenance of laboratory instruments
• Adhere to all quality control standards and safety regulations
• Assist with troubleshooting errors and resolving issues related to laboratory testing
• Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and other healthcare providers to support patient care
