Seeking an experienced professional to provide essential laboratory services in a dynamic healthcare setting. This contract position plays a vital role in supporting diagnostic and patient care efforts.

Schedule:

• 6:00 pm – 6:00 am
• Friday through Sunday

Key Qualifications:

• Current Louisiana license required
• Certification as Medical Technologist (MT) or Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT)
• Demonstrated experience in medical laboratory procedures and operations
• Proficiency with laboratory equipment and technology
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team during overnight shifts

Primary Responsibilities:

• Perform accurate testing on blood, tissue, and body fluids utilizing standard laboratory methods
• Analyze lab results and maintain detailed records to ensure high-quality patient care
• Operate, maintain, and calibrate laboratory instruments as needed
• Ensure laboratory procedures comply with industry standards and safety regulations
• Communicate critical findings promptly to healthcare providers
• Maintain strict adherence to confidentiality and privacy policies
