Qualifications & Experience:

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or related scientific field
  • Valid ASCP, AMT, or equivalent certification required
  • Proven experience working as a Medical Technologist or MLT in a clinical laboratory environment
  • Strong knowledge of laboratory best practices, safety protocols, and quality control measures
  • Demonstrated proficiency in operating and maintaining laboratory instrumentation and equipment
  • Solid analytical and problem-solving skills with great attention to detail
  • Effective communicator with the ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented environment

Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine and specialized laboratory tests in accordance with established policies and procedures
  • Analyze body fluids, tissues, and other specimens, reporting accurate results to providers
  • Maintain and calibrate lab instruments, ensuring quality and reliability of test results
  • Adhere to safety, infection control, and confidentiality standards throughout all processes
  • Document findings, results, and quality control data in laboratory information systems
  • Troubleshoot issues with tests, equipment, or procedures as needed
  • Contribute to a collaborative atmosphere, supporting colleagues and participating in ongoing education
