Medical Lab Technologist (MLT) - Greensboro, North Carolina

Opportunity available for an experienced laboratory professional with a strong background as a Medical Technologist or Medical Lab Technician. This role focuses on performing a variety of diagnostic tests and maintaining high standards in laboratory practices. The position is structured as a contract assignment and requires coverage during the 3rd shift. Candidates should be skilled generalists comfortable in a fast-paced environment and dedicated to supporting patient care.

Responsibilities:

• Perform analysis on clinical laboratory specimens, including chemistry, hematology, urinalysis, microbiology, and immunology, as a Generalist
• Ensure accurate and timely reporting of test results to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients
• Maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot laboratory equipment following established protocols
• Adhere to safety and quality assurance procedures and provide documentation for regulatory compliance
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to deliver efficient, accurate laboratory services
• Participate in proficiency testing and continuing education for ongoing professional development

Qualifications:

• Credentialed as either a Medical Technologist (MT/MLS), MLT, or equivalent
• Experience working in a clinical laboratory setting, covering a range of departments (Generalist)
• Availability for 3rd shift work (overnight)
• Up-to-date vaccinations as required by facility policy
• Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and excellent communication abilities
