Qualifications:

• Successful completion of a Medical Technologist or Medical Lab Technician program
• Current, nationally recognized certification (ASCP or equivalent)
• Prior generalist laboratory experience strongly preferred
• Comprehensive understanding of laboratory techniques, instrumentation, and safety protocols
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team-focused setting
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• COVID-19 vaccine required per facility policy

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform a broad range of diagnostic laboratory procedures with accuracy and efficiency
• Analyze blood, urine, and other body fluid specimens, reporting results in a timely manner
• Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory instrumentation and equipment
• Ensure quality control and adhere to strict laboratory regulations and safety standards
• Document laboratory findings and maintain accurate records in compliance with facility policies
• Communicate effectively with healthcare providers and laboratory staff to ensure proper specimen handling and reporting
• Participate in ongoing training and continuing education as required
