Qualifications:
- Active ASCP certification required
- Minimum of 1 year recent experience working as a Medical Technologist or Medical Lab Technician
- Strong proficiency in laboratory processes, procedures, and safety protocols
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with clinical staff and fellow laboratory members
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct a range of diagnostic tests on patient specimens for clinical evaluations
- Operate and maintain laboratory instruments and equipment to ensure accurate results
- Verify and validate laboratory data, reporting results to providers in a timely manner
- Follow all lab policies for sample handling, quality control, and documentation
- Troubleshoot technical issues and participate in process improvements as needed
- Uphold all regulatory standards and maintain an environment focused on safety and accuracy
