Schedule:

  • Four 10-hour night shifts each week (specific hours to be discussed during the interview)
  • No holiday coverage required

Qualifications:

  • Active ASCP certification required
  • Minimum of 1 year recent experience working as a Medical Technologist or Medical Lab Technician
  • Strong proficiency in laboratory processes, procedures, and safety protocols
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively with clinical staff and fellow laboratory members

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct a range of diagnostic tests on patient specimens for clinical evaluations
  • Operate and maintain laboratory instruments and equipment to ensure accurate results
  • Verify and validate laboratory data, reporting results to providers in a timely manner
  • Follow all lab policies for sample handling, quality control, and documentation
  • Troubleshoot technical issues and participate in process improvements as needed
  • Uphold all regulatory standards and maintain an environment focused on safety and accuracy
