Medical Technologist - Hollywood, FL

Schedule:

• Full-time day shift: 7:00 am – 7:00 pm
• Primarily scheduled on weekends

Qualifications:

• Must hold a Medical Technologist (MT) credential; Medical Laboratory Technicians (MLT) are not eligible
• Active certification with ASCP, AMT, or AAB
• Current Florida State laboratory license (required)
• College diploma or official transcripts as proof of education
• Minimum experience as a generalist in a clinical laboratory setting
• Candidates must reside outside of Broward, Dade, or Palm Beach Counties to qualify

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform a variety of laboratory tests across multiple disciplines, maintaining accuracy and adherence to detailed protocols
• Analyze samples and report results with precision, supporting clinicians in diagnosis and treatment decisions
• Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment, ensuring optimal operation for accurate test outcomes
• Strictly follow quality control procedures and safety standards
• Collaborate with peers and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless lab operations
