Medical Technologist - Jamaica, NY

Schedule:

• 13-week contract
• Five 8-hour evening shifts weekly
• Guaranteed 40 hours each week

Qualifications:

• Well-versed generalist, proficient in a broad range of laboratory disciplines
• Active ASCP or AMT certification preferred
• Valid New York State license required
• COVID-19 vaccination is a must

Responsibilities:

• Perform and interpret a wide variety of laboratory tests while adhering to established protocols
• Ensure accuracy, timeliness, and quality control of all laboratory results
• Operate and maintain complex laboratory equipment safely and efficiently
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to help deliver optimal patient outcomes
• Maintain meticulous records and comply with regulatory requirements
