Schedule/Hours:

• 13-week contracted assignment
• 5x8s evening shift
• Guaranteed 40 hours per week

Qualifications:

• Competent in Medical Technologist or Medical Laboratory Technician duties
• ASCP or AMT certification is highly preferred
• Valid New York State License required
• COVID-19 vaccination is mandatory
• Strong generalist laboratory skills and knowledge across chemistry, hematology, microbiology, and transfusion services

Responsibilities:

• Conduct routine and specialized diagnostic testing within the laboratory
• Analyze and interpret laboratory results accurately and efficiently
• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment in accordance with established protocols
• Adhere to strict quality control, quality assurance, and infection control procedures
• Participate in troubleshooting and resolving laboratory discrepancies
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to support patient care
• Ensure all documentation complies with regulatory standards
