Medical Technologist in Key Colony Beach, FL

Seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented medical technologist for a generalist position in a fast-paced laboratory environment. Schedule/Hours:

• 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM
• 36 hours per week

Assignment Duration:

• 24-week assignment, with potential for extension

Qualifications:

• Certification as a Medical Technologist (MT) through ASCP, AMT, or AAB is required
• State of Florida laboratory technologist license (must be current and active)
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university, or transcripts demonstrating completion
• Strong generalist skills, with experience in chemistry, hematology, microbiology, and urinalysis
• Must be submitted as an MT—MLT candidates are not accepted

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct routine and complex laboratory procedures across multiple disciplines with accuracy and efficiency
• Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory instruments and equipment
• Evaluate and report test results, recognizing abnormal findings and following established protocols
• Adhere to all safety, quality assurance, and regulatory guidelines to maintain high standards
• Communicate effectively with medical staff, laboratory personnel, and other departments as needed

$2,270 - $2,394/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
