Schedule:
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Shift: To be determined
- Shift Times: 7:00am–3:30pm or 12:00pm–8:30pm
- 40 hours per week
- Every other weekend required
- No floating to other departments
Qualifications:
- Current ASCP certification required
- Demonstrated experience as a Medical Technologist in a clinical laboratory environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accurate results
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to operate laboratory instrumentation and perform high-complexity testing
Responsibilities:
- Conduct a variety of laboratory tests and procedures, ensuring efficiency and reliability in results
- Analyze samples following established protocols and maintain accurate documentation
- Troubleshoot equipment and resolve technical issues independently or with minimal supervision
- Collaborate with pathologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to support patient care
- Adhere to laboratory safety policies and maintain compliance with regulatory standards
- Support a culture of quality improvement within the laboratory
