Required Qualifications:
- Current certification as a Medical Technologist (MT/MLS) or Medical Lab Technician (MLT) through ASCP
- Minimum of one year of relevant experience in a clinical laboratory environment
- Comprehensive understanding of laboratory testing procedures, instrument operation, and quality control protocols
- Ability to analyze complex laboratory results, troubleshoot equipment, and maintain accurate documentation
- Strong attention to detail, with excellent problem-solving and organizational skills
- Effective communication abilities and a collaborative approach to working within multidisciplinary healthcare teams
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform and validate a wide range of laboratory tests, ensuring accuracy and adherence to established protocols
- Calibrate, operate, and troubleshoot laboratory instrumentation as required
- Monitor quality control measures and maintain compliance with safety and regulatory standards
- Document and report critical lab results to healthcare providers promptly and efficiently
- Participate in continuing education and training to remain current with evolving laboratory technologies and best practices
