Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid California Clinical Laboratory Scientist license required
- Experience as a Generalist, with demonstrated proficiency in blood bank procedures
- Prior work in a clinical laboratory setting preferred
- Ability to collaborate on cross-functional tasks within the lab
- Strong communication and attention to detail
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct and analyze laboratory tests in multiple disciplines, including hematology, chemistry, immunology, and microbiology
- Perform comprehensive blood bank duties, ensuring safe and accurate testing and compatibility processes
- Maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot laboratory instruments
- Ensure proper documentation, reporting, and quality control procedures according to regulatory standards
- Collaborate with laboratory staff and healthcare professionals to deliver timely and precise results
- Participate in continuing education to remain updated on best practices and evolving technologies
