Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid California Clinical Laboratory Scientist license required
• Experience as a Generalist, with demonstrated proficiency in blood bank procedures
• Prior work in a clinical laboratory setting preferred
• Ability to collaborate on cross-functional tasks within the lab
• Strong communication and attention to detail

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct and analyze laboratory tests in multiple disciplines, including hematology, chemistry, immunology, and microbiology
• Perform comprehensive blood bank duties, ensuring safe and accurate testing and compatibility processes
• Maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot laboratory instruments
• Ensure proper documentation, reporting, and quality control procedures according to regulatory standards
• Collaborate with laboratory staff and healthcare professionals to deliver timely and precise results
• Participate in continuing education to remain updated on best practices and evolving technologies
