Seeking a dedicated Medical Technologist to perform essential laboratory analyses in a permanent, full-time role. This opportunity is ideal for candidates experienced as a Generalist with strong expertise in blood bank procedures. You’ll play a vital role in supporting clinical teams with accurate, timely results that impact patient care.

Qualifications:

  • Valid California Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) license required
  • Previous experience as a Medical Technologist or in a laboratory setting
  • Strong working knowledge of blood bank processes and protocols
  • Comfortable performing a range of generalist laboratory duties
  • Attention to detail and high level of accuracy in test results
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct diagnostic laboratory tests across multiple disciplines with a focus on blood bank
  • Analyze, interpret, and report results to assist clinical teams in patient care
  • Operate and maintain laboratory equipment in accordance with established guidelines
  • Ensure compliance with safety and quality control protocols
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals for optimal patient outcomes
  • Document and communicate laboratory findings efficiently
  • Keep current with laboratory best practices and updates in procedures as needed
