Schedule:

• 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM
• 36 hours per week

Assignment Details:

• 24-week duration with a potential for extension

Qualifications:

• Current ASCP, AMT, or AAB certification required
• Active Florida state laboratory license mandatory
• Must have either a college diploma or official transcripts
• Must be submitted as a Medical Technologist (MT), not Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT)
• Strong background as a generalist across all major areas of the clinical laboratory, with the ability to adapt to varying lab needs and challenges

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform high-complexity testing across hematology, chemistry, microbiology, immunology, and blood bank in accordance with established protocols
• Accurately analyze, interpret, and validate laboratory results while maintaining a fast-paced workflow
• Ensure all procedures and documentation comply with regulatory standards and quality control practices
• Collaborate with fellow technologists, clinicians, and laboratory leadership to address workflow and patient care priorities
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to ongoing laboratory excellence
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of laboratory techniques, instrumentation, and safety practices
