Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid California Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) license required
• Demonstrated proficiency as a generalist and strong competency in blood bank procedures
• Prior experience working as a Medical Technologist in a clinical or hospital laboratory
• Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Strong collaboration and communication skills with ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform a variety of moderate and high complexity laboratory tests across core disciplines, including hematology, chemistry, urinalysis, and microbiology, with a focus on blood bank operations
• Process, analyze, and report laboratory test results in accordance with established protocols and quality standards
• Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory equipment; troubleshoot instrumentation and resolve technical issues as needed
• Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations, safety procedures, and documentation requirements
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare providers to deliver accurate and timely laboratory information that supports diagnosis and treatment decisions
