Medical Lab Technologist (MLT) - Marathon, Florida

Step into a fast-paced laboratory environment as a medical technologist, contributing your expertise as a skilled generalist. This important role is designed for individuals who are experienced across all laboratory disciplines and hold the necessary credentials for practice in the state of Florida.

Schedule:

• 3 on, 3 off schedule, primarily 6:00 p.m. – 6:00 a.m. (36 hours per week)
• During certain weeks, 4 shifts: 2x 9-hour shifts and 2x 12-hour shifts (42 hours in those weeks)
• 24-week initial assignment, with potential for extension

Qualifications:

• Certification as a Medical Technologist (ASCP, AMT, or AAB accepted; MLT certification not suitable)
• Active Florida state laboratory license
• Proof of college diploma or transcripts
• Versatile generalist laboratory skills and experience covering all core disciplines
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to work independently during overnight shifts

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform a wide range of laboratory tests efficiently and accurately
• Operate, troubleshoot, and maintain lab equipment following established protocols
• Ensure all laboratory results meet regulatory and quality standards
• Safely handle and process samples from various collection points
• Maintain accurate records of all tests and laboratory procedures
• Communicate critical findings with clinical teams as required
• Adhere strictly to safety and confidentiality regulations

$2,270 - $2,394/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
