Medical Lab Technologist (MLT) | Marathon, Florida

An opportunity is available for a skilled and experienced Medical Technologist to play a vital role as a Generalist within a laboratory setting. This contract position requires a well-rounded candidate who is comfortable handling a broad spectrum of laboratory duties in a fast-paced environment.

Schedule:

• 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM shifts
• 36 hours per week
• 24-week assignment with potential for extension

Qualifications:

• Must be certified as a Medical Technologist (MT); MLT candidates will not be considered
• Acceptable certifications: ASCP, AMT, or AAB
• Valid State of Florida laboratory license is required prior to submission
• Completion of a college diploma or availability of transcripts is necessary
• Experience in a generalist role is highly preferred, ensuring versatility across all core laboratory disciplines

Responsibilities:

• Perform a variety of laboratory tests and procedures with accuracy and attention to detail
• Work collaboratively with fellow technologists, laboratory staff, and medical personnel
• Ensure quality control measures are upheld in all testing processes
• Maintain detailed and precise documentation of laboratory results
• Troubleshoot instrumentation and address technical issues as needed
• Adhere to all safety protocols and laboratory regulations
