Medical Technologist in Marathon Shores, FL

Schedule:

• 6:00 pm to 6:00 am
• 36 hours per week

Assignment Duration:

• 24-week commitment, with potential for extension

What We're Looking For:

• Current Medical Technologist (MT); Medical Laboratory Technicians (MLT) are not eligible
• Well-rounded generalist with strong experience across laboratory disciplines
• Valid ASCP certification (AMT or AAB credentials also accepted)
• Current State of Florida laboratory license required
• College diploma or official transcripts on file
• Proven ability to deliver accurate, timely results in a busy laboratory setting

Role Responsibilities:

• Perform a wide range of laboratory tests with precision and adherence to established protocols
• Analyze and interpret results to assist clinicians in diagnosis and treatment planning
• Ensure strict compliance with regulatory and safety standards
• Maintain accurate records, quality control logs, and equipment documentation
• Collaborate closely with fellow technologists, laboratory staff, and healthcare professionals
• Troubleshoot equipment, assay, and specimen issues as they arise
• Contribute to a positive and efficient laboratory workflow
