Medical Technologist in Marathon Shores, FL

Experienced and versatile laboratory professionals are needed for a generalist medical technologist contract role. In this position, you will apply your well-rounded skill set to support a dynamic clinical laboratory environment.

Schedule:

• 3 on / 3 off rotation
• Standard is 6:00pm–6:00am (36 hrs/week)
• Some weeks may include 4 shifts, with 2 days at 9 hours and 2 days at 12 hours (totaling 42 hrs/week)

Assignment:
24-week commitment, with potential for extension.

Qualifications:

• Must possess national certification (ASCP, AMT, or AAB accepted)
• Active Florida state laboratory license required
• College diploma or official transcripts must be included with your profile.
• This opportunity is strictly for Medical Technologists (MT); MLT applicants are not eligible.
• Solid generalist experience across core laboratory disciplines

Responsibilities:

• Perform and interpret a wide range of laboratory tests as a skilled generalist, ensuring accuracy and quality at every step
• Adhere strictly to established laboratory protocols and regulatory requirements
• Maintain clear, concise documentation of procedures and results
• Collaborate with colleagues to support patient care and laboratory workflow
• Maintain and troubleshoot laboratory instruments as required

$2,270 - $2,394/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
