Medical Technologist in Marathon Shores, FL

Step into a critical role as a Medical Technologist supporting essential laboratory operations on a 24-week contract assignment with evening and overnight shifts. This opportunity is ideal for an experienced, well-rounded generalist who excels in fast-paced, diverse environments.

Schedule:

• 6:00pm – 6:00am
• 36 hours per week

Key Qualifications:

• Must be a Medical Technologist (MT); MLTs not considered for this role
• Certification required: ASCP, AMT, or AAB
• Active Florida laboratory license
• College diploma or official transcripts
• Demonstrated experience as a generalist across core laboratory disciplines

Core Responsibilities:

• Perform and evaluate a full spectrum of laboratory tests with precision, including hematology, chemistry, immunology, microbiology, and blood banking
• Ensure timely, accurate analysis and reporting of results to assist in patient diagnosis and treatment
• Maintain quality control standards, calibration of laboratory equipment, and precise documentation
• Collaborate with clinicians and lab team members to optimize workflow and support patient care excellence
• Adhere to established laboratory protocols and regulatory standards in all processes
• Participate actively in troubleshooting, problem-solving, and continuous improvement efforts
