Key Qualifications:
- Certification as a Medical Technologist (MT/MLS) or Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) from an accredited program.
- Current or eligible national certification such as ASCP, AMT, or equivalent.
- Prior experience working in a clinical laboratory setting preferred.
- Proficiency with standard laboratory equipment and information systems.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative laboratory team.
- Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in testing and reporting.
Responsibilities:
- Perform and record a wide range of laboratory tests including hematology, chemistry, immunology, and microbiology.
- Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory equipment.
- Analyze test results and report findings clearly and promptly.
- Adhere to established safety protocols and quality assurance procedures.
- Support troubleshooting and corrective actions as needed.
- Collaborate with medical professionals to provide timely diagnostic information.
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
