Key Qualifications:

  • Certification as a Medical Technologist (MT/MLS) or Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) from an accredited program.
  • Current or eligible national certification such as ASCP, AMT, or equivalent.
  • Prior experience working in a clinical laboratory setting preferred.
  • Proficiency with standard laboratory equipment and information systems.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative laboratory team.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in testing and reporting.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform and record a wide range of laboratory tests including hematology, chemistry, immunology, and microbiology.
  • Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory equipment.
  • Analyze test results and report findings clearly and promptly.
  • Adhere to established safety protocols and quality assurance procedures.
  • Support troubleshooting and corrective actions as needed.
  • Collaborate with medical professionals to provide timely diagnostic information.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
