Requirements & Desired Experience:

• Current certification as a Medical Technologist (MT/MLS) or Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT)
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Medical Laboratory Science, Clinical Laboratory Science, or related field
• Previous experience working in a clinical laboratory environment is highly desirable
• Familiarity with laboratory instrumentation and best practices for quality control
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
• Ability to thrive in a collaborative, multidisciplinary team

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform a variety of laboratory tests—hematology, chemistry, immunology, microbiology, and transfusion services
• Analyze specimens using automated and manual techniques while adhering to quality and safety standards
• Maintain documentation, quality control records, and laboratory logs
• Review and verify results, escalating critical findings appropriately
• Calibrate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory equipment as necessary
• Participate in continuing education and support laboratory process improvements
