Medical Lab Technologist (MLT) - Miami, Florida

What You’ll Do:

• Perform routine and specialized testing as a generalist in a busy laboratory setting
• Operate and maintain laboratory instrumentation with precision
• Analyze, interpret, and report results according to established standards
• Adhere strictly to quality control protocols and regulatory guidelines
• Collaborate with clinical teams to ensure timely and accurate test results
• Support weekend operations as part of the core team, ensuring consistent workflow

Schedule:

• Full-time, day shift hours: 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
• Primarily weekend coverage

Your Background:

• Current certification: ASCP (AMT or AAB also accepted)
• Active State of Florida laboratory technologist license required
• College diploma or official transcripts must be provided
• Experience as a medical technologist (MT); MLTs do not qualify
• Generalist proficiency essential—candidates should be adaptable and knowledgeable in all lab departments
• Applicants must not be local to Broward, Dade, or Palm Beach Counties

This assignment is an 8-week contract with potential for extension based on facility needs.
