Medical Technologist - New Hartford, NY

Seeking skilled Medical Technologists and Medical Lab Technicians to contribute expertise within a dynamic laboratory setting. In this contract position, you’ll serve as a generalist, working in a high-demand role alongside a supportive clinical team. One day shift and two night shifts are available, providing flexibility for the right candidates. Multiple positions are open for dependable professionals ready to make an impact.

Schedule/Hours:

• Options for one day shift or two night shifts

Key Qualifications:

• Certification as a Medical Technologist (MT) or Medical Lab Technician (MLT)
• Prior experience as a generalist in a laboratory environment
• Demonstrated expertise in analytical testing and interpretation of laboratory results
• Must be fully vaccinated for Covid-19
• Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to work collaboratively in a fast-paced setting
• Excellent communication and organizational skills

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct clinical laboratory testing for use in diagnosis and treatment of diseases
• Perform quality assurance procedures to ensure laboratory accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards
• Accurately document and report laboratory findings to clinical staff
• Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment as needed
• Uphold strict safety and infection control protocols
• Contribute to continuous improvement of workflow and patient outcomes
