Medical Technologist in New Hartford, NY

Contribute your laboratory expertise in a dynamic medical setting as a generalist, utilizing your skills as either a Medical Technologist (MT) or Medical Lab Technician (MLT). This contract opportunity calls for vital roles in supporting diagnostic excellence within the lab environment.

Schedule/Hours:

• One position available for day shift
• Two positions available for night shifts

Qualifications:

• Completion of an accredited program for Medical Technologists or Medical Lab Technicians
• Certification or eligibility as an MT or MLT required
• Experience in a generalist capacity in the laboratory preferred
• Possession of a valid Covid-19 vaccination
• Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility
• Ability to work effectively on either day or night shifts as assigned
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and critical decision-making skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform a wide range of laboratory tests and procedures across various disciplines
• Ensure high-quality, accurate diagnostic reporting for healthcare providers
• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, troubleshooting as needed
• Follow strict safety protocols and quality control measures
