Seeking an experienced professional with a strong laboratory background to contribute valuable skills to a dynamic healthcare setting. Schedule/Hours:

• 10-13 week assignment
• Flexible shift options: four 10-hour shifts or five 8-hour shifts per week

Key Qualifications:

• Active ASCP or MT certification required
• Demonstrated laboratory experience in a clinical setting
• Proficient in blood banking procedures
• Capable of performing phlebotomy as needed
• Strong attention to accuracy, quality assurance, and patient safety
• Effective communicator and collaborator within a multidisciplinary healthcare team

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct tests and analyses on blood, body fluids, and tissues with precision
• Utilize laboratory instrumentation and follow established protocols and safety standards
• Oversee daily operations of the blood bank, ensuring transfusion compatibility and maintaining accurate records
• Perform routine and complex phlebotomy procedures in accordance with best practices
• Validate test results and report critical findings to medical staff promptly
• Participate in quality assurance activities to uphold laboratory standards and regulatory compliance
