This 12-week assignment promises to expand your resume as you work in a well-equipped setting and collaborate with skilled colleagues. Schedule:

  • 5x8 hour day shifts
  • 6:00 am – 3:00 pm, Monday through Friday

Preferred Skills & Experience:

  • Current certification as MT/MLS (ASCP or AMT required)
  • Minimum several years of recent experience as a generalist, including blood bank responsibilities
  • Strong background with Cerner LIS
  • Demonstrated experience with Roche systems in Chemistry
  • Proficiency with Sysmex analyzers in Hematology
  • No MLT candidates for this assignment
  • Candidates must reside 50+ miles from North Charleston, SC

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform diagnostic laboratory testing across core disciplines (including hematology, chemistry, and blood bank)
  • Ensure clinical accuracy and quality control in all results
  • Operate and troubleshoot laboratory instruments (Sysmex, Roche platforms)
  • Adhere to laboratory protocols, safety standards, and regulatory requirements
  • Collaborate with a cross-functional team to deliver optimal patient care
