As a Laboratory professional in North Charleston, you’ll advance your expertise by working with top-tier laboratory technology, including Roche cobas Chemistry analyzers, Cerner and Epic systems, and advanced Blood Bank procedures. Schedule:

  • 13-week assignment, with the potential for varied start dates and contract lengths.
  • Standard schedule: Monday through Friday, with potential for afternoon/evening or weekend shifts.

Required Qualifications:

  • Current ASCP or AMT certification (Medical Technologist or Medical Lab Technician).
  • Generalist laboratory skills.
  • Phlebotomy experience required.
  • Comfortable with both Cerner and Epic lab systems.
  • Experience with Roche cobas Chemistry analyzers and Blood Bank procedures.
  • Flexibility for afternoons, evenings, and occasional weekends.
  • Minimum 50-mile distance from the facility to qualify as a traveler.

Responsibilities:

  • Performing generalist laboratory testing and analysis.
  • Accurate and safe specimen collection through phlebotomy.
  • Utilizing electronic lab systems for data management and results reporting.
  • Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to support patient care.
  • Maintaining compliance with laboratory safety and quality standards.
