Travel Medical Technologist in North Charleston, SC

Schedule:

• 13-week engagement
• Monday to Friday, 6:30am – 3:00pm
• 5x8-hour shifts
• Every other weekend rotation

Required Qualifications:

• ASCP or AMT certification as a Medical Technologist (MT)
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Microbiology
• Previous laboratory experience in a hospital or high-volume laboratory
• Ability to work well independently and collaboratively
• Flexibility for weekend shifts as scheduled
• Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from North Charleston, SC

Primary Responsibilities:

• Perform routine and complex laboratory testing with precision and accuracy
• Maintain and calibrate laboratory instrumentation
• Analyze, verify, and report test results following established protocols
• Troubleshoot equipment and resolve technical challenges as they arise
• Collaborate closely with healthcare professionals to ensure top-quality patient care
• Uphold stringent infection control and safety guidelines
